Gazania tomentosa, Silver Leaf Gazania, with its soft silver foliage, makes an ideal low maintenance ground cover plant. The foliage is a great contrast with green-leafed plants and adds a real highlight to its texture. The bright yellow daisy-like flowers provide a splash of colour through spring, summer and autumn each year. It is a low-maintenance plant and can grow in the poorest of soils, from frontline coastal exposure aspects to hot, dry inland climates.
